  • Rani Solhaug

    ...Soup!

  • jon foster

I just fixed the Mastodon and Mango soup you sent me. I made me a little grilled cheese to go with it. Not bad, a little stringy but good.

  • Valentine Mark Herman

Please tell Mr Campbell I can make the Sea Monster Soup recipe available to him if he wants to start making it,  and/or if I send Mr Chambers a Sea Monster will he make a label for the tin?

  • jon foster

No, the meat was a little stringy. Not bad considering the age of the animal.

  • Neil Gordon

  • Raphael'L

I'm glad you like them Keith. When I see your mail art these days, I am impressed ... You explore so many!

  • Neil Gordon

Glad you got the cards! I got a hoard of old Opera Bootleg cassettes from a friend of mine( and i thought it was just the grateful Dead heads that did this!..).... which i 'm enjoying, some recordings go back to the 1940's... That one was re -purposed from Handel's "Hansel and Gretal" recorded live in Hartford Ct,  Erni Asks the eternal question:"Wheres Hansel?" Probably partying w/ lady Godiva???

  • Eraser Heed

Thank you so much for the absolutely lovely mail art, I do not have the possibility to show it to the world at the moment but....

See you in the mail box!

    EH

  • Heleen de Vaan

    Received!

A big surprise in my mailbox. Love it. Thank you very much, Keith!

  • Nancy Bell Scott

    You're welcome, Keith. I did have a wish to half-perplex anyone susceptible (for example, I would be!), so thank you for making that only mildly forgettable dream come true. :--}

  • Heleen de Vaan

Thank you for your kind words!

Yuo wrote you thought there were no truly weird animals on the piece you sent me - in contrary: I think all animals amazing! The Wren with his/her tail upwards, the Wasp with his/her bright yellow colour and sting... So you made my day, I was and am very happy to add your mail art to the Real Weird Animals site!

  • Raphael'L

Hi Keith, I found your amazing art on my return to home last night. It's really a "superbe piece" to look but also to touch, and your words incite to imagine beyond my own memory of shapes and colours... Merci!

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Well, I could tell from "Anaheim" that you could not be to far away from the original Disneyland (where I once visited with great fun!)Glad that Mickey arrived in California to celebrate the Birthday Mania of Walt Disney! xxx

  • Carmela Rizzuto

Hi Keith--I had not made a series in awhile and your soup can series inspired me to tackle the challenge. I've been tempted to create a recipe for Jabberwocky soup! Enjoy your holidays and may  you have a creative new year.

  • jon foster

    You are very welcome!

  • Raphael'L

Not many on the road this time ... only a small journey, not far from you, to discover Los Angeles ;-)

  • Raphael'L

Yes I was also surprised by this tentacle city, discovering the lack of space between 2 points ;-)
But in the end, a nice trip with some wonderful discoveries and even some walks in a deserted downtown (really a perfect time to have a walk between Tnaksgiving and Chrismas)!

  • Raphael'L

Hi Keith, I received your mail art saturday. I don't know what is your technique but I really like them, the marriage of textures is incredible.. secret recipe ?
For my part I am very behind on my mail and apologize. I only hope you'll receive my New Year greetings in your mailbox... in time for the new year of the horse ;-) Amitiés

  • Raphael'L

Thanks Keith for sharing a bit of your creative processes... I love your "c'est la vie", I always found that it sounds more optimistic with an american accent :-)

  • Raphael'L

I would not dare, you know that! ;-)

  • Katerina Nikoltsou (MomKat)

Thank you, Keith...very nice and great "Erniness" too.

  • Susan McAllister

Thanks, Keith. I am enjoying your new series. Thanks for including me.
  • Susan McAllister

I find playing with the process is one of the great joys of making art. I love nor knowing what I am going to end up with.
  • Carmela Rizzuto

    HI KS

Thank you for your recent mail art--reminiscent of exquisite corpse. It will be added to my IUOMA photo stream and will be blogged soon at http://decordisart.blogspot.com/

I browsed your blog and see you have found Nick Bantock and the his mail art books--really inspiring work. So what is the meaning of 1252 in your profile--a bit of coding humor?

Mail art will be coming your way within the next 4-6 weeks.

  • Carmela Rizzuto

Thanks, Keith--I probably would have been in the cloister across the valley doing the same. I love medieval manuscripts and used to do calligraphy, but had to stop due to injury, aging etc. Where would we be without our supportive spouses. Keep smiling!

  • Eraser Heed

Thank's for a great ma card!

    Cheers, niklas

  • Raphael'L

Thanks Keith for your incredible "trilogy". I will document them next week!

  • Claire (aka Cleo)

received 2 (count 'em: two!) great postcards from you recently - thanks Keith! ^_^ Be well - Best, C

  • Carmela Rizzuto

Keith--Who would have guessed that hiding amidst the zaniness of iuoma were two closet medievalists. Thanks for sharing.

  • Petrolpetal
