Holy freakin' moly, BF! Your grand gift has arrived!!!  THANK YOUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU! They are all perfect, (except one that was cut and a bit fell off, but made no diff to the stamp, just the shadow of the postal kid) and I spent the day mounting them on lovely timbers, sanding, washing, etc, testing them for the TAM archive, I now have a sore face from smiling!! Looove them all! When I find a perfect box for them I'll blog!

And here's a 'Get outta hell free' pic for you !! More thank yous will come in the mail!! You are the best!! Thanks again!!!

Have not seen them yet.... sorry.  Will post when they show, stuff at the University sometimes goes awry.

Can I post page 11 of the inaugural edition of Stretch Marks, the rubber stamp art zine, from 1994 in the Archives group here at IUOMA?  It shows your 'Church of Right Now' spoof of forgiveness of sins.  It is hilarious.  Do you remember?  Roslyn M. Stendahl put it out.

ps. that muscle man is a ripper, reminds me of comic ads from when I was 10! The ones where they say, "Are you sick of being wimpy and having sand kicked in your face" or something like that. Ha ha, or maybe you modelled it on yourself?

Sorry, I missed the polymer Qu. I think it's actually better than rubber , although I don't really know my rubber like you do. Apparently the clear stuff lasts forever. I have a few rubber stamps that have hardened and cracked, is there any way to bring them back to life or do I chuck them?

Great, it got there!! You're not a veggo are you? Well, they're just pictures of sossies, not real ones, so you might enjoy the catalogue anyway. I'd had it wrapped and on the shelf for ages, then one day I thought, 'That's mail art!'

Thanks for checking about the rubber for me, might just ditch it.

Clean them after using? Oh Gawd, life's to short to clean stamps. Or anything for that matter... (so warn me a month in advance if you ever come to visit!)

Uh, today we got eight degrees below zero, it equals about 17 in farenheit..
A week free from work is approaching, finally got some time to do some more crap in the evenings. :)

OK, sometimes I clean 'em. But I use a shallow dish of water and then stamp old papers, in case I get a good print. Sometimes they are amazingly ghostly. Or just messy blobs.

Sounds great BF, in time for christmas then :) Here I have only made an eraser  with an old time aeroplane as subject. Discarded 10 other erasers with portraits before this one, thought I would use it for "airmail". Now  boatmail or oatmail, I'll see what's next.. Take care. EH

Thanks BF - been stuck on vacation for 5 days and they haven't resumed my mail - the regular postman told me yesterday the batch was forgotten by him at the station and would be delivered today, alas, the other substitute guy delivered toady, no backlog yet.

Mailing a couple of mail arts to you, one contains artistamps from my own workshop/studio (the kitchen bench), but it is a bloody snow storm outside and I dont' want' the envelope to be soaked in water, the first m.a. escaped before the storm hit Gothenburg.

I don't think any of us thought much about it - fun through postal means.  One of my friends received a baby shoe, the stamp was on the leather heel, and written on the white leather upper was "Had a good time - call me".

Glad you liked it BF! The stamps is done with simple means. I visited a shop for stamp collectors and found these old stamp sheets from 1974, they are perforated and printed by the Swedish Post. I have bought about 40 sheets for a total of $4! And then just printed and cut out pictures and fitted them onto the sheets. Wish I had a perforator....someday :) So now I am a artistamper too, and jolly good fun that is..

7:30 this am, I tried and true mailman pulled into our driveway to deliver packages. How confused was I when i saw him carrying what looked like  a water bottle? You madeth my day with your genius message in the bottle. Am I supposed to set it sail somewhere for my wish to come true? Not gonna happen unless I float it in the bathtub.  love it completely thank you:)

So an old man goes to confession "Forgive me Father for I have sinned."  The priest knows the man and says "Yes Maurie what is your sin?"  Maurie says, "I've been having sex with two 18 year old twins.  Lots of it and it's been amazing."  The priest says, "Maurie, you are Jewish why are you telling me this? It soon arrives in Thessaloniki at Nikoltsous mail box. A fun project that looks great. 

Do you think that the edges should be cleaned go ahead, you have the knowledge, you can do the design what you think is best for the result. Let's share this stamp, it is more fun that way. I think I am a sucker for the rubber if it not too difficult to do. The size? I have no idea, maybe like "normal" classic size. Go ahead altering what you need in the center picture, remove or add.

What I really meant was water for the lack of rain in SD. This pagan country of Sweden is godless and no holy water is to be found anyways. And come to think about it, water for daily use will be quite expensive to send. You have to survive on art.
