Happy it arrived just before the label fell off.  Hope to see you in the mail soon.

Yes, The USA trip was wonderful.  You'll find lots of photos coming out here: http://iuoma-network.ning.com/profiles/blog/show?id=2496677%3ABlogP...

Hey Keith, I received your MA yesterday - it was great - thanks so much! And thank you for the neat enclosures too - where did you find that great little card? Love the stamps too. I feel very tempted to use them, but I have this thing about about keeping my MA packages intact as received, so as to retain the integrity of their particular Magic... mmm, but we shall see...%_^  Aaaanyway, thanks again, until...

  • Claire (aka Cleo)

Thanks for the "permission," as it were...%_^ Think I might just have to scan them/make copies. You know, I realized I have never gotten mail from Afghanistan - do you know a mail artist there? Aaaanyway, I just got these images from an old seed catalog, and I think some of those pages are just Calling out rather stridently for bugs - lol!

Well, a very nice found object indeed! Mmm, although I feel the same way as you re: tarot, 'tis still a charming message... (I find a rather quirky dichotomy present in myself regarding such things... I'm rather a skeptic/cynic, shall we say, and tend to scoff at "cosmic" stuff. Nonetheless, I'm also a romantic, and find myself charmed by the symbolism of such things sometimes, the inferred magic... "Magic" is one of those words/concepts I adore - not as a literal thing [like magic tricks/shows/spells/crystals whathaveyou], but as an allusion, a force shall we say, indicative of the wondrous, infinite possibility(ies!!!) within the human mind...)

    Well, thanks again! Best, Cleo

Hey Keith, I received your great postcard. Thanks!
  • Susan McAllister

Hey Keith, maybe you should buy some of those Mad magazines and use them for making art. That could result some really fun mail art.
  • Carmela Rizzuto

I have everything sorted out into various folders. There is one specifically for "Received". If you can find it. As a paying customer for many years, i'm still very upset with the re-design.

Keith! You little ripper! What a fabulous piece of mail art you sent me, are we still in Kansas, Toto?! I'm absolutely stoked! It made my week, and when I get some spare time to take photos it'll definitely be on my blog list! Really appreciate it.

Hope you're having a fab holiday!

    Thanks again. ;-))

  • Raphael'L

Many thanks keith for your 2 cards during your trip... They made my day when I returned for my own trip (I didn't send any card during this time, so I admire more yours ;-)

  • Susan McAllister

Hey Keith, Glad you liked it. No, it's not a part of a larger drawing. I made a collage from Asian type papers and liked it so much I decided to make a drawing of it in my favorite black, white and red colors. It gave it a whole different look.
  • Bruno Cassaglia

  • Neil Gordon

Glad you got home safe received the card... bet you have some kerouacian tales from the road and the Ludd-Mobile, keep rockin' and see you in the mail!

    Neil

  • Raphael'L

Thanks Keith for your awesome collage I received today... I love the way you done it on cardboard... Do you commute everyday on earth with all this muni tickets? ;-)See you soon in the mail.

  • Raphael'L

Wow! I like your comment on the way you collect your stuff! And now I feel Iess alone because I make the same thing especially when I walk in SF, (but rather without my husband  ;-)... I never find so many things in the too clean streets of San Jose. Otherwise I also like visiting the secondhand booksellers because many pieces of papers with writings are often forgotten in these books.
In any case here it's for me the " paradise of the thrown scraps of paper" because many found materials seem to me totally "exotic" (in English, Chinese, Spanish,...)
And especially thank you for the "recology art" in SF, I didn't know it and have never seen one of their exhibition at SFO, where I often go nevertheless. I am going to try to visit them in September for their next exhibition.
Thus you see that you can be reassured, your "babbling" was incapable to tarnish my thoughts on your art :) On the contrary!

  • Suus in Mokum

Hello Keith, your card arrived in Amsterdam earlier but the summer and holidays came in between ;) Thank you again.

  • Ruud Janssen

Yes, Stamp prints are always welcome on the special sheets. Do you have them or do I need to send some?

  • Rani Solhaug

How crazy is this....I, for fun, Googled hovering hoarse horse heed hastily and the first information that pops up is Dark Horse (George Harrison)Wikipedia page! The cosmic and interstellar roads of the mail arting universe are more intertwined than imagined! I am listening to Horses right now for its been a while. Thanks for Patti!

  • Raphael'L

Hi Keith, I got your card from New Mexico today. It's such a pleasure every time in my mailbox... It seems you are always on the road, what a life ;-)
I wish you a great vacation and an endless inspiration! Many thanks.

  • Raphael'L

"Oups" (can I say that in english ?)...I really must have been tired last night when I wrote this message!
So sorry but it was definitively not an extracorporeal experience for you this time ;-)
I leave Friday for 10 days on the road and sure I will mail something to you and David (your double in new mexico;-) All the best!

  • Claire (aka Cleo)

"I hear the Sound of Mandolins"...

Thanks muchly for the great MA I received today Keith! (Lord you're prolific!!!)

Was that a reference to the Bowie song "Wild is the Wind" (Station to Station" is one of my favorite lps), or the Nina Simone version? Either way, wonderful collage & great tune! Thanks for the enclosed goodies too!

    Best,and thanks again,

    C

  • Raphael'L

I really love your Walter ghost story! It give me some ideas ;-)

  • M. Nelson

No problem, friend. It is great to meet some new people in this community. I'll be sending something you way shortly.

  • Sara

I'm happy that the card reached you. I know the "problem" with the books. Enjoy your day...

  • Raphael'L

Unfortunately I made only a few portions of Route 66 (California and Arizona) who crossed the path of the national parks on my program! More days were needed ... But I always hope it will be possible before my return to France !

  • Raphael'L

Yes I'm living here temporarily for 2 years and now it remains me only about 6 months. I'm in love with your national parks & I like hiking so in 5 or 6 trips, I visited Yosemite, Sequoia & king Canyon, Pinnacles, Death Valley, Monument Valley, Arches, Natural Bridges, Zion, Bryce, Grand Canyon, Valley of Fire, Wupatki & Crater volcano...And for some of them twice ;-)

  • Raphael'L

Merci Keith for the collector postcard, it will have a special place in my own collection. This is one of the things I like on the roads here, you can drive a very long long time in the middle of a endless landscape and suddenly you pass to another infinite landscape that you seem to have no possible connection with the first... always touched by this possibility of change ! Hope your mustang is still in use ?

  • Gregg Shaw

Thanks for the excellent mail-art Keith!!!! It's very elaborate and nicely done! Expect one from me soon, but not as good because I am new at mail art. Slipping past the gate... :-)

    -Contemplating the soup,

    Neil

  • Raphael'L

Merci Keith for your Mutton & Loganberry soup! You're right it's a great meal especially in the winter! (event if I have some doubts about this variety ;)
On my arrival in the country, I discovered how this soup I knew only by A.W., occupies an incredible REAL place in the supermarket shelves (and so in the lives of Americans?)

    Bon souper créatif!
