Pleased to make your acquaintance, Cracker. No, haven't gotten around to trying my hand at stamp-making yet, but it's on my list of things to do. And you? If you want, give me your mailing address and I'll send you some mailart. Cheers.
Hi Crackerjack Kid,
Good to hear from you again. Lots of questions. About the books on LuLu. It only costs me the work, but it doesn't sell that much. Printing and distribution is done by LuLu. Sold a few hundred of books though, but it seems one day they really will become collectors items as well. Some friends in the mail-art network boughtb them for archives too. So they are on certain places. They are even offered through Amazon, but nobody seems interested. Yes your book is funny too. It seems like a collectable item too......
It is time for a new book I guess, to explain the old history again connected to the new situation. On Facebook I only have seen more activity the last years. Seems like some mail-artists finaly have come through learning some computer skills. In my own life; I've been working wirh computers for over 30 years now. Actually am teamleader of a college where we train computer experts.
Some friends have vanished. Haven't met Guy Bleus for a long time. He does reply to mail when i send him something. His back is giving him problems and he has constant pain. Not easy for him. Charles Francois writes that he stopped with mail-art. Still lives at the old address, but doesn;t answer anymore. Last April I was in new York for the first time (you can find lots of traces on the intternet documenting that with the Exhibition at the Stendhal Gallery which was curated by John Held Jr.
Also managed to publish the Thesis of Michael Leigh and Honoria since they weren't available in bookform yet. Lulu makes things easy. Quality is sometimes a bit less, but for the service they offer it is actually quite good. You should try it (and if interested in the books I published; they are still available).
The friends on Facebook is a funny story. Actually this platform has already 1200 members gathered here in less then 2 year. You are two of them. Yes, noticed the previous account. You have become a legend with your book (-s), so people acually.....
Hey stranger. Some people seem to think that you are me, or I am you.
I don't think any corrections are needed, although I am confused as to who is who is who. You should enlighten me today.
Sorry I had to duck out during our conversation last night--sure! let's trade les enfants--mine come with college expenses, one with a mohawk hairdo and a penchant for cheesecake, the other loves European retro disco music at an ear-splitting volume and can't understand why his last paper didn't get an A(titled, Charles Manson: Misunderstood). Very cool that your daughter got a birthday card from Ray. Cheers.

Hey Kid, trying to get in touch with you. Just donated the bulk of my Mail Art collection to Artpool in Budapest, Hungary. I digitized a good sampling of my collection including some of your mailings. Interested in a copy?
Your double envelope masterpiece has been "blogged" on the left side column on the Main Page here at IUOMA...the entire unraveling until we reach the CrackerJack surprise inside! Thank you soooooo much, 'love it!
