Let others travel with you trough your art!

Conditions for LET YOUR MIND TRAVEL 2020

*             Choose a standard envelope or make your own envelop. 

                Maximum size C4 (32,4 x 22,9 cm)

*             No need to put anything inside because the envelop is going to be the art work. 

                If you absolutely must add something feel free to do so.

*             Save some space for the shipping address on the front, 

                and your name/website/instagram on the back.

*             Make sure there is enough postage on your envelope and use beautiful stamps

*             Most important of all make an art work on your envelope! You can use whatever 

                you want as long as it can be send through the post.

*             Your work will be shared on social media. 

*             I also hope to host an exhibition but I’m not sure yet.

Hey Carl, perhaps you can explain the [mailart] binary system to me; I would assume it would entail one sender, one receiver and would have a rotating zero, one trajectory to alter vector paths alternating sender and receiver roles throughout the network, but I digress, perhaps, as I asked, you could give me some insight into the true binary system of traversing one's mailart through the eternal network.

oh sure, there are binaries(1&2)(2&1) but mailart is an automatic system,

and is more telepathic actually, some ppl cannot read these messages, but i say send today, see what happens, i often send randomly, but rarely receive mail i don't need. we trust the eternal network>>>>>>>>

True, true... trust in the eternal network. Random mail-outs are good, anonymous random mail-outs even better [more fun?]... but it is important to continue feeding into your personal network within the eternal network. The gallery VISIONI ALTRE in Venice  in collaboration with the collettive AE in Rome, invites artists to reflect on the theme contestualizing it in their socio-geographical framework.
The topics are: WOMAN’S RIGHTS AND THE LGBTQ+ COMUNUITY

This call is in collaboration also with Guenda Mai a grad student at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. All the works recived by the artist will rapresent an important sourse for her  thesis paper.

Mail Art Call: Musiamo Cent

I am building Musiamo Cent (Museum 100). If you want to be a building block for the first museum in a land that does not yet exist but to which I hold the blueprint, send a piece of mail art. The collection for Musiamo Cent will run for 100 days, as a fictional parallel to documenta 15.  Submissions received from now will be entered with in-situ text into the museum collection on the 5Ft Storyhouse blog from 31 Jan - 10 May 2021 (100 days).

Hi all, I’m a Fine Art student looking for anybody interested in helping me with an assignment on Mail Art, we’ve been given the task of creating an online project so I’ve decided to exchange art with people around the world and exhibit it on an Instagram feed.

There is no briefing on what can be sent, if anything I would encourage people to send me things they enjoy making (as we all have our preferred ways of working). I will of course return the favour by sending something back. Please do let me know If you would be interested. I am relatively new to the concept of mail art so this is an exciting opportunity for me! (Anything late will still be added as well, I will also accept emailed work).

The deadline is the 20th of April.

I've created so many half-finished projects that I am hesitant to post any but my fiancée can only draw horses so I started a call for horse art.

I like it because it's a simple call and not mentally taxing, and horses are huge in the local culture of Kyrgyzstan.
