This link might not work for everyone, but I'll give it a try. Kerri Pullo posted a short video that shows her doing asemic writing. Sort of an asemic performance piece.
Many thanks to Nancy Bell Scott for posting new work at IUOMA and letting me run a selection at M-L. NBS is a longtime member of our group and an alumna of the Asemic Wallpaper School.
Asemic comrades, some of the trashpoets & I have launched the Trashemic Music Consort, an archive of (largely undefined) sound art that mixes asemics & Trashpo. I am looking for both earlier & contemporary material to archive. If you have any tracks, please give me links or files & I will post them on the TMC. Youtube links (that I convert to MP3) work very well. Thx
The Trashemic Music Consort site is getting more & more interesting w/ work by Mick Boyle, Diane Keys, and now our own John M. Bennett. We've had discussions about what asemic music might be. These folks are defining it. (You can too. And I am glad to post more experimental music. Just contact me.) Thx to JMB
Some great collabs going on in the network these days. Today I saw these by our very own John Bennett & Diane Keys. If this isn't asemic, I am not sure what is. Definitely worth a close look:
Fike is the first visual poet to be featured on my new Asemic Front blog. Asemic Front is essentially a mail art project, but I'll include other relevant material including digital. Thx Fike!
