Nothing is happening in this Group. I am ending it by suspending all the members, including you. Let me know if you want to take over the management of the Group and breathe some new life into it. Regards, Val

Great one from Maria. The level is high here in Vinyl Art Land.
Thanks for sharing it with us.
PS This weekend I bought two records at an "empty your attic" sale for .75 cents each. Now to find the time to make them come to life like Maria did with hers!
Fiquei Muito feliz Opaco Gostou.
Apenas hum Pequeno Reparo: O que é dos Açores e Madeira está identificado. Os bonecos, representam trage típico de Portugal.

Welcom Virgy Virginia, I hope yu like the Vinyl Art Group.
That's 2 new members, both from Italy, the Group has gained in the last 24 hours.
One of the 1st ever 45 rpm records I bought was called 'Basta'. I still have it ...about 55 years after I got it while on holiday in Rimmini -- and it is still a very good rock record.
I must stop now.
Or Basta.
Welcome Matham-House! We're looking forward to seeing some Italian Vinyl Art. Val
Does anarchy make you panicky?
OK, Edmund.... time to move on from spatial sex theories, and get back to Vinyl, Art and your turntable
Erni, mon ami: here are 2 quotes about the Voyager Pioneer Plaque --
i) This is from Alan Fletcher's brilliant book, "The Art of Looking Sideways":
'The figures were not shown holding hands in case that it implied that they represented a single organism. After all, the ancient Greeks, unfamiliar with domesticated horses, had assumed the marauding mounted Scythians were weird beasts, and called them Centaurs. Social conventions and physical attributes were also fed into the design. A raised hand was intended to show greetings, the bent arm to infer flexibility, and opposing thumbs to indicate grasping. The woman lacks a line, therefor sex -- Carl Sagan (one of the two designers of the Plaque) suspected NASA might censor the message at the last minute. Here is mankind trying to communicate to unknown and proabably superior intelligence, and some bureaucrat doesn't want them to know that women have vaginas.'
ii) This is from Valentine M Herman & Friend's best-selling 2009 book, "AD 2059: My Life in a Cardboard Box" --
'Observation; I am somewhat surprised that no American capsule of this period [1972] included a copy of "Playboy" magazine. Newspaper headlines I can envisage include, "High Heffner meets the citizens of Taurus & Saturn", and "Martian Playboy Bunnies -- A Special Feature". '
