That is, an 8 page zine made with just one sheet of paper.
This group is for anyone who wants to make, share, and trade zines made with just one sheet of paper. The paper is folded to make an 8 page zine. If you don’t know how, there are many tutorials on YouTube. Here’s one:
You can also share your creations here, along with any tips you’d like to pass along.

@Re: I know Gimp. Used it for some time. Great program. Nowadays I use Inkscape. Very good for vectors, image resizing and text. Also open source and free.
I've been using open source software for a long time. I've been a Linux user for more than 10 years. Great tools we can find in the open source world.
@Eduardo: turned out nice. :). You can use GIMP it's similar to Photoshop but open source and free. Make shure to download a stable version. There are a lot tutorials for whatever you would.like to do in Gimp.
I usually do my zines, (the A5 and A6, stapled) the low-to-no-tech way, like Gingernaps suggests. But some works I like to make them digitally. I've done some in a word processor, but for image it doesn't work well.
Anyway, I might start an 8 page zine today. I'll post it here when it's finished.
i usually use an old version of photoshop for doing the layout for zines that are done from scans. most of my zines are documenting some sort of work/project i've done and i may not even have the original work - just scans to work from. i think any basic similar program will work - depending on what you are wanting to do.
Thank you very much for the tips, guys.
@Leslie: take your time. :)
@Re @William: I was thinking about that. Doing something also on the back.
By the way, in case you do your zines digitally, what software do you use for page layout?
Eduardo, I'll send you a recent zine I made that was double sided. I owe you mail anyhow. I always owe mail...
@Eduardo Cardoso: if you make a zine folded from one page you do nit havhave to worry about the unfilled back of the page. some zinesters put a hint people should unfold after reading. then they pit an extra on the back e.g. a "poster" or other stuff. depending on topictopic of the zine kind if hidden surprise.
