By watching videos on IUOMA TV you can also sponsor the IUOMA. Every advertising you see brings in money to host the IUOMA.
So far members generated since May 2010 with 1766 views a total of $ 4,88 (update 16-11-2010)

Aha, now i understand why there was an ad for Morgan Chase on Ruud's video! That is indeed a clever way to "sponsor" this site, I guess. As long as the sponsors don't start to tell us what we can or cannot post?

Every click on a video with advertising normally generates 1 US dollarcent. So actually with 2000 hits on videos each month the IUOMA platform would be hosted through this medium for free. SInce that doens't seem to work I have stopped the advertising for now and will wait on the results of the poll.

A new poll about IUOMA TV and advertisings , YES or NO is placed now. Got some negative reactions to the advertisings, so I wonder what IUOMA-members would like.

The advertisings are anoying for a lot of people I guess, so I turned them off. The little income over the first testmonths is so little that it doesn't seem worth the trouble it causes.

It was just an experiment to generate some income for hosting the IUOMA platform in Ning. The little income (less then one us$ in a month) isn't enough to bother members with the advertisings I guess. The poll will give your opinion, so please confirm if I am on the right track here.

5,21 Pages per visitor

So all the pages created by the IUOMA-members are viewed 1,3 million times. Quite a number.....

Here's an interesting statistic... two of my youtube videos have now been viewed by over 1000 people, that's good you might think...yet"according to the Dutch entertainment channel ... young women who pose nearly naked on the Internet get a million plus hits a week... porn is obviously more attractive to the population than art...therefore if you want a lot of people to look at your artwork give it a title like "xxxHot chick's shag me stupid!xxx"... nah, I don't think I'll bother, I'll just stay happy at over 1000 hits.
