Amazing the envelope reached you so fast!  (Apart from the slitting open at the top, it looks EXACTLY as it did when it left Waikoa Island!  So I am assuming that Lenin and the Mary Celeste took it across the globe!)

Those Occussi-Ambeno Zeppelins must use rocket fuel - this only took six days from Waikoa to Wivenhoe!

Hi Azzaro, just home from my exciting weekend adventure. I went by steam train down to Tangiwai for the dedication of a monument to the train crew who were killed in the train disaster of 1953. On my return home, I found your package in my mailbox, so have perfed your stamps & posted back today.  Sadly, some of the Dolphins are mis-perfed as I normally do 5 sheets at a time, and assumed that all the sheets were identical, but some seemed to be out of true alignment.  Never mind, I've included them all for you anyway.  (Maybe you can stick "misperfed pairs" on some covers?)  Do you want me to make you a rubber postmark?  Either send me the artwork, or just tell me the wording needed (town, country) and I can do it.  You need to then add the date in the centre separately via a movable line-dater. Be sure to use only BLACK stamp-pads for your postmarks!  cheers, Bruce.

Comment by Azzaro on April 7, 2017 at 10:56pm

Thanks Bruce - I received the Vinland cover with contents - and a Kempland letter addresses to the President of Takangarika Island. My great appreciation. No NZ post markings again. Did you post through the Air Mail slot?
