Requiem for a dream

Who watches over us when we sleep and dream?

DREAM MANIFESTO

1. We dream because we refuse the bordeom of the laws of gravity

2. The severed roots of a bewildered tree inside a swamp travel by gliding towards the longing sea

3. Death is a force of creation; it shapes several masks on the faces of the living

4. We need to accept the slow movements of our own heaviness; going too fast destroys the inner and outer visions of our dream possibilities

5. Art liberates the physionomy of those who disappeared in the dark shadows of official history writing

6. The mystery of poetry has no gender; so by definition or intent is always androgynous

7. I prefer the power of a simple line drawing above the construction  of a canvas, a party, a trade union, a circle of free thought

8. Traveling reveals the traveler while dreaming uplifts the dreamer

9. Dreaming and seeing are things of a different order or nature: when we dream too much we are unable to see the bigger picture; when we see too precisely the details of a so-called reality we loose the dreams of depth and the depth of dreams

10. What is the cold dream of a frozen stone?
It shows somehow a dark liberty in a black night dreaming of freedom, a night that touches the sea
at the border of a growing tsunami.
The survival of the stone is sure, perhaps, as the echo of a radio of those who drowned in their own dreams.
The sea is all what we hear; the sea is all what will remain of us...
