1^st INTERNATIONAL MAIL ART EXHIBITION ATAKPAME, Togo - 2025

"RADIO KAMINA”

Kamina Artists and Researchers Platform (KARP) in collaboration with the Inter-Art Foundation from Aiud, Romania propose to organize the first International Mail Art project in Togo.

The Kamina Radio Station played a significant role in the history of Togo and the region, serving as a symbol of colonial power and technological advancement. Its destruction marked the end of German colonial rule in Togo and the beginning of a new era under British and French administration.

Today, the ruins of the Kamina Radio Station remain a historical site and a testament to the complex and tumultuous past of the region and Atakpame district.

The theme of the exhibition: “RADIO KAMINA”

Format: max. A4 (21 x 29.7 cm | 8.26 x 11.69 inch)

Deadline: July 1^st, 2025 (arrival date of the works!)

WORKS THAT ARE ETHNICALLY, POLITICALLY, RELIGIOUSLY OR SEXUALLY OFFENSIVE MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Participants must complete the entry form that can be either downloaded from www.karpkamina.com, or requested by email at karpkamina@gmail.com

Please send only digitally filled in forms (not handwritten / scanned forms).

Documentation and presentation of the exhibition on the Facebook page of the "KARP" Platform.

The artworks will NOT be sent back, will enter the patrimony of the “KARP” Platform.

Opening of the exhibition: November 5^th, 2025 at the Atakpame Commune Library, Togo.
