Thanks you, Carien, for another lovely envelope full of mail art! The photo of the person standing nude in front of their bathroom mirror is easily one of my favorite images I've received, very spot on to the art that I love!

Hi Mah Nu, we were discussing the older mail art & I came across this scan of 2 pages from a German mail art/underground lit. zine circa 1980.
The collage is by Genesis P. Orridge of Throbbing Gristle & Psychic TV fame. Industrial & noise music were literally born via the network and circulating cassettes. Genesis promoted Throbbing Gristle via this kind of grassroots promotion. As a result, there is a lot of FAB Genesis art out there. (Of course Genesis was just another looney like the rest of us. Who knew?)
I hope you will send me some stuff so I can do a new article on cassette culture and the network.
