Let me tease you a minute: "last minute inspiration" makes me think of the cooks who make something delicious and then say "I just threw it together with some leftovers that were hanging around the fridge." Haha! Or the woman in It's a Wonderful Life who, when complimented on her dress, says something like "this old thing? Why, this is what I wear when I don't care how I look." You've made a really nice piece, last minute.
