What is a unicorn for you? Can you catch it?

Did you know that unicorns in antiquity were known for their wildness? That they were able to kill elephants? That they haven't been rosa and glittering all the time?

We are a group of students and teachers who read some latin texts about unicorns in our classics course – and now we are curious about your thoughts on the unicorn!

Exhibition: There will be an exhibition in fall 2020.

Technique: Free

No jury, no return, no fees.

Please add your Name and e-mail.

Unicorns here in the wildness of the Queendom of Retaillia are very wild and I am having trouble catching one so in the meantime I am admiring the very friendly not at all nasty Greek troupe.

It seems that the Unicorn of the legend has heeling powers and now they are calling the Llama a modern unicorn because it has been found it has  antibodies capable of attacking the Corona virus. (McLellan Lab, Austin, Texas)

I am off to catch my Unicorn or at least a Llama.

The very friendly greek unicorns arrived safely and well :) Thank you very much, Katerina!

Some friendly Greek UNICORNS were sent your way...

during the Covid virus crisis, in April,

maybe they arrived safely?

Es ist leider noch nicht klar, in welchem Format die Ausstellung stattfindet.

Wir freuen uns auf viele weitere Einhörner! Der Termin ist nicht zwingend, lass dir Zeit, Uta:)

Viele Grüße!

Oh yes a really nasty one fat and pink with lots of shiny bits that little girls love, haha!

I have not found any evidence of nasty Unicorns yet, to my disappointment. they were mentioned in the bible as very strong but that is all. I will keep on investigating.

Dear Martha, it's a mail art call with an exhibition that will (maybe) take place online on this page.

Are you going to create one of these really nasty unicorns?

Comment by Mail Art Martha on May 5, 2020 at 9:23am

Oh yes! Unicorns like fairies can be quite nasty, which makes them more interesting.

Pray tell me, kind sir, is this an art-on-the-wall or a virtual event? Either is most interesting, good idea.
