• there is something more interesting, now MH//A  has associated me. In 2012, for a few months, I dreamed (I mean a real dream/sleeping/dreaming.) I dreamed dreams in English. Nothing special, usual things, everything normal. natural. After I wake up, I think how I dreamed in English when I don't know English

It was like the first time i was in London... suddenly i felt as if i couldn’t speak any English at all, because everyone was talking so fast and with such strong accents

the only time I could talk here on IUOMA with Rack C. (he is no longer on the platform) without the help of a translator, he speaks that English that we here know from movies and music.

if you were to listen to people speak in a coffee bar in Serbia, you would know 50 percent of the words, because they are English. But you wouldn't be able to know what they were talking about. Here, English words are used in a completely different context. And in different circles they have different meanings.

the translator carefully translates when someone writes to me from the German, French, Italian area in English. When someone writes from the USA, Canada, the context is weak. English from English is the biggest problem.

to always use a translator. and I'm never satisfied. and in private, when I have people translating, there is always a conflict, because they say something similar and not exactly. The explanation is always the same "that's what they say", but I wanted you to HEAR HOW I SAY IT IN MY MIND. compromise is a stupid thing.

Big thank you, Fike! I am so far fine with your English too, but I think Zorica is using translator of some sort to communicate in English, and there may be times the translator thingy do not work for her perfectly and thus she has to guess the whole meaning of all sentences written here and there in English. I admire her efforts in all that to communicate with us all on IUOMA 🙋

I think my English is okay, as I graduated from a community college from Southern California, but there are times that I find my English is still poor, oh dear... but what can I do ? I am a Japanese native, so I need to learn to live with that, with the ability of some English. Sometimes it can be really tough, but sometimes good. English indeed is needed in this current world, as for communication. So, I would like to keep on learning English bit by bit 🙋
