Nice photo of Mark.  He looks ready for business!  He always found the coolest T-shirts - to wear and designed many - one of which I am wearing as the weather in the UK has turned very Spring like.  I bought this "Bookshops Not Bombs" T-shirt back in October but never had a chance to wear it until now!  I've bought several from him over the years - my favourite being the various recycling logos he managed to compile.

Michael, thanks for inviting me to the Mark Pawson Mail Art Superstar group. Although I have been a mail artist for many years I was unaware of Mark and his amazing works. Thank you so much for posting these pieces -- a  wonderful tribute. And I am very sorry for his loss to you personally as well as to the community.

Yes, a shock for all who knew him I'm sure. We didn't believe it at first - thinking it wast was a terrible mistake or a prank or something.  Far too young and so many more little books and stickers and badges to make. Life just isn't fair!

This was a shock – Mark was ubiquitous, whenever I went to a small press fair and knew nobody else, he was there. I've had one of his badges on my print overall for years
