Received from Helen yesterday - R LAND. A place of altered books, unknown entities rushing towards unnamed gates, clues to places unknown.

But it rains there, look around on the floor of the hut.

Goodness gracious! I hope Helen and co. are ok, I'm thinking about her and watching the news constantly.

Helen ays she is very well and they are lucky not to have any damage on their home, but I imagine conditions without electric all the time, no internet, etc. has definitely put mail art away for a while. The thing is that several will have to be patient and wait for Helen to mail out the other half of her boekies...and she can't say when that will be.

My "R" Land came in an wonderfully OLD piece of wallpaper-envelope! Very delicate and soft to the touch. The pages are altered book as Cheryl mentions...amazing!

Well this is heartbreaking watching the news with mail art friends in the blizzards in USA and floods and cyclones in Australia .... lots of positive thoughts for everyone! Mother nature is flexing her muscles and trying to tell us to behave ourselves I think.
