Another of my altered computer disks. We called these floppy because the previous version was actually floppy, while these are not. Now we can't even get to the info on this. This one was dated 2000 and was the tech notes for a production of Hamlet that I stage managed.

Bonjour!

I've used floppies in the past for my art stuff; if you go to www.val-herman-art.eu, and then to the Floppy Disk Art section ( on the left hand side, scroll down), you'll see some of my works. I mainly used 3 1/2" floppies, plus some larger (5 1/43?) ones that Katerina kindly gave me.

And there are also these from my current Clock Art series/

Flop on!

Your description brought back some major memories from summer camp.

I used to go to computer club every week, and they taught us how to put files (i.e. games) on those things that I took home and booted up.

I faintly remember using the actual floppy ones and playing Oregon Trail. That must have been way back in the day on some gear that was already outdated, unless those giant ones stuck around longer than I realize.

I forgot what the little switch in the corner does. It locks something, right?

And by the way, is that the same guy that was floating stamps down the river...?

The art was great, but the postal delivery was a flop.

This did not reach the recipient! I'm sad. I wonder where it ended up? Or if it'll turn up someday.
