I did not have the opportunity to exchange mail art with Guido, but always noticed what a kind, welcoming soul he was here. His creativity will be admired by many friends old and new for a long time to come. May he rest in peace.

Outstanding painter/poet/thinker/mail artist Guido Vermeulen passed on September 24th. His work was some of the first I greatly admired when I initially perused the pictures on IUOMA one evening in April, 2012... I wrote to him of my profound admiration... In response to my enthusiasm, he was one of the first from whom I received mail when I first joined IUOMA that night. He was a joyous, vital, and very passionate man. His creative spirit was infectious. It throbbed. It pulsed - Resoundingly! Guido was very prolific and his work was exceptional. His inspiration and love never seemed to wane... His voice and his work were emphatically beautiful. He shall be greatly missed indeed. I love you Guido!

La notizia che,Guido Non è più con noi,mi ha reso molto triste.

E' stato un bravo Mail_Artista,mancherà sia a noi che,alla Mail_Art.

Guido was the first IUOMA person I loved. Not just his art, but who he was as a human being. Our world is a little dimmer without him.
