Peace takes a bullet without retaliation,
she looks upon her dead cousin,
without the reflex of revenge;
she knows that who has killed,
has been in conflicts of their own.

She looks upon her dead child,
then looks up to Heaven with tears;
and there find strength.

Peace enters the fray,
without a bullet-proof vest;
with roses in her arms.

Peace is a storm,
who opens up her wounds,
and there finds courage;
her winds inspire others,
to disarm,
picking up their enemies in arms,
and bandaging their wounds.

Above all, Peace does not
incite to riot;
but she looks on at her armies with dismay,

As they light the fires of their desolating warheads.
