Thanks to Gianni Ramacciotti for the collage with Trilussa 's poems.

Trilussa (1871 – 1950) is an Italian poet, and for this collage the artist chose a small poem, also presented in Russian translation (see photo). The author used a bingo table, very skilfully written text and made some more attachments. And there are fingerprints on the envelope! All together is a true work of art. Here is the English translation of Trilussa's poems:

 

- I might count very little, that’s true

- One was saying to Zero -

but what are you worth? Nothing; just nothing.

Both in action and in thought,

you’re just an empty, inconclusive thing.

Me, instead, if I stand first in line,

in front of five zeroes just the same as you,

you know what I become? A hundred thousand.

It’s a matter of numbers. It’s close

to what happens to a dictator

who grows the more in power and merit

the more are the zeroes following him.
