Hi Katerina!! I received a visit from Athina loaded with beautiful bubbles and my favourite greek blue grass!! Thank you very much for thinking of me!
I was in Athens many years ago, for a short visit. It is an enchanting place, indeed, with a magic atmosphere that steals your heart! I shall go back one day..
All the best
Patrizia

Tours are the safest way in these countries, safe water and safe food and safety in numbers with the reputation of the tour company at stake. They did provide us with unlimited bottled water. They all spoke English and basically were very nice. The women I saw were selling things to tourists at the sites but the kids running up to me to sell and ask for things upset me. The smell from the camels was like the nursing home my dad has been in.

I was on a tour so it was ok. I did not appreciate some of the guides comments both about my country, they do not recognize Jews and womens attire, how sexy the eyes look in those awful garments they wear. But the antiquities were beautiful and they do a lot of work. The biggest surprise was that women do not work in the hotels all male maid staff and restaurant staff. They smoke much to much

I never really do that much for Halloween. I am going to Letizia's Bakery this morning. It's on Division and Leavitt. They have pretty good muffins there.

Ahhh....Athens! My cousin went to the university there - many years ago. He gave me an Athens U sweatshirt when I was a teenager. I wore it until it disintegrated! I have always wanted to go there - and someday I will. Did you see the last post I did with your Art? I loved it! Thanks for that - I think I forgot to thank you earlier - ugh!
