Katerina, You are so funny. I agree that the card getting chewed a bit, adds to the charm and would you agree that community gets beat up a bit, from time to time? I love the sandpo, haptic, shredpo! It is great! Thank you so much. I guess you can call my card shredpo!
Katerina--Next time you visit San Francisco let's meet up! Yes, SF is freezing and windy and foggy all summer. No fun. But the rest of the year it's beautiful. Blogger is down and I can't post to my blog either - frustrating. Hope both of them are up soon. Happy you enjoyed the card I sent. take care--P
I just visited my page and read the sad news, we shall miss you here, I was so looking forward to meeting you showing you the city. Another time I hope.
Pleased to announce the safe arrival of The Tree of Rod :-) THANK YOU!!! Later today - if life allows :-( - will put it in the Greek Connection - the blogs get LOST so fast!!! Love from S.A. XX
It has been a while since I sent you something. I really need to keep track of when I send this and that...just to keep things fresh. Not sure what the "hate" part is supposed to mean, sometimes things just end up in the card without much rhyme or reason.
May not be able to send out much this summer with trips and what not, but I'll make sure to send you a card from Canada in a couple of weeks and one later in the summer from China.
It's fantastic. It's on the side of the North-South motorway just outside Newcastle (and you cans see it from the N-S railway line too). You can't miss it, and shouldn't miss it. gormley is a really creative sculptor. I ahve more photos if you're interested. regards, Val
Thanks for the clarification of the Greek. I posted that piece in the comments on my blog post. Cool that we can all learn a little Greek along the way. Possessive ending, hmmm. I won't go there, she says, with a smile on her face.
Thanks for the pictures of cats, ah these wild Greec cats, how I love them.
I've been to Greece 3 times already and really liked it (except Athens perhaps, dirty, smoggy and the Greec men there are awful with tourists, so different from the isles or the rest of the continent, strange..the only good thing about Athens I found was the retsina, did not even like the Parthenon that much..)
OOOH! Now that looks exciting - YAY :-))! I am HOPEFULLY making mail art this weekend - am surrounded by sick people spluttering and coughing all over me - but I am DETERMINED not to fall fowl of any toxic germs :-)
So glad the watercolor card arrived. I'd wondered since it was just watercolor paper and not something thicker. Notice the calligraphic swishes, reminders of Istanbul. Ah, sweet memories of our time together. Lucky US!!
You got the staples :-) - well done - although I did them, I nearly didn't - get them :-) Will let you know about Windmills next week. Have requested copies from the guys... Wrapping up Alexander also - making covers tomorrow :-)

Suddenly I am no longer getting notified of messages coming to my page or the Mail2Maastricht page. Ning is sometimes ...cluncky!.
I hope all the kafuffle in Greece will not hamper your presence in Maastricht Kate?
Greets and hugs

Hi Katerina,
How are you? Thank you for the picture of these lovely flowers. I've been working in my garden but our season was so late in arriving.
