Oh, Margurite! I just love your cards and I read the same book as you; Good Mail Day. Jennie Hinchcliff's right? I was thrilled to get a card from her after I sent one to her PoBox.
Are you interested in some stuff from California? Watch for it!
Marguerite, here is an invitation to pARTicipate in the SECREt eXCHANGE exhibitions...pass the invitation on to your friends, and let me know on my page if you will or won't be able to contribute; go to IUoMA Events...or click on the link http://secretexchange.yolasite.com/ thx, Terry Reid, and hope to hear from you
Thank You for being so kind! I appreciate your patience.
We are now experiencing just about the worst drought ever, so am anxious for a great deal more moisture than we've had yet this year. care to send a little rain our way? Say, 4-5 inches to make up for some of the shortfall?
An earache is keeping me homebound today. Yuck! Maybe I can address the paper with scissors, and color after the rest of my lighter weight chores are done.
My apologies for not having given you the heads-up that your wonderful card to me got through!!! I blogged about it, but had neglected to let you in on its arrival!!!
Sorry about that. Guess I'd better watch that in future.
Hiya lady, have finally sent something back your way this week. Just a little package - I hope to send some other bits and pieces soon. Thank you for being such a lovely correspondent, in the face of my postal tardyness! x Bianca
It was the lovely way you welcomed me to IUOMA which gave me the added oomph for what I finally sent. That you've been very patient certainly made it even more important to send you the best I could offer. And if it pleased you, then I'm gratified even more.
Your lovely work stays on display in the living room. It is truly beautiful. Thank you again.
Marguerite, we sent off a new one for you today. Just wanted to let you know. Its design became somewhat sullied by a very careful postal worker that worried it might not arrive if not handled by hand, not machine. Who knew it could get this complicated?
It HAS arived safely Marguerite. It's wonderful ! Thank you. I feel priveleged to receive your autobiography in a tine. So much thought, care and feeling.
Thank you.
+ i love tins - its a beaut -so glad you saved it :)
My apologies! With health issues aplenty, our group's been out of commission the past two days, mainly from a nasty bug or virus, The one not thus afflicted at this time had to stay in all day, and will be stuck at home while skies clear of any smoke from 2 area wildfires, still burning---she's our asthmatic. Mail Call-wise. I had so looked forward to sending off our reply to your lovely pocket surprise to us from last month! And here I am, stuck in bed!
I have a chronic anxiety/panic disorder, & even with my meds, if I'm left alone without music it's akin to 7 pinball machines & a submarine siren crammed into my brain, heehee. So the music not only serves as inspiration, but therapy as well. I'm very glad that you enjoyed the cards. (Oh, & I saw my first PJ show back in '92. :-] )
You're very welcome, I knew I owed you at least a couple of pieces, & I haven't been able to stop listening to that album for the past month or so. Were you familiar with 'The Fixer' before getting the cards?
