You know, George Papandreou was born in Minnesota, his mother is from Evanstan Illinois, so he is Greek and American (like me).
But my childhood memories ( up through until my graduate studies) are from my first 26 years of my life: born and raised in Chicago! And yes, I got very nostalgic with the smell of Elmer's glue! I even have a box of Crayola crayons that I open from time to time...just to smell :-)
Glad that the postcards came safely, as I usually send them in envelopes. But it looks like now I can experiment by coating with Elmer's Glue. Many thanks!
