Got your card last week and I am sorry it took me so long to acknowledge it. I like the whole thing (New York City Girls Having Fun at Night  - dark humor if I have ever seen it...) and I LOVE the dreamy watercolor/pen and ink drawings. It's always a pleasure to receive your work. Thank you.

Bonjour Nadine! Thank you so much for the lovely face that you sent me. How do you manage to paint on crinkly paper? It must be very hard to do. The portrait is so realistic, and the smile reaches out to me.

I'll be mailing you something back in the next few days.

Thanks again, and I hope that you are having a good summer. Regards, Val

I was truly stopped in my tracks as I took your work out of my mailbox and started back to the house. Wow! I so enjoy looking at your work. And on this one, there are three little creatures on the front, looking like a mom, dad, and baby creature. That reflects my own family (although the "baby" is 24 years old and towers over Mom and Dad).

What a pleasure to receive this. Thank you Claudia

You wrote a "triple threat" comment a while ago and gave me a good laugh. Today a fantastic assortment arrived from you--great stuff in there, Nadine. Love Mike Dickau's (and others') stamps, and as for the Morley sticker, I want to go out right now and find an abandoned building (not hard in these parts). I enjoy every single item. Thank you ...

What a fabulous story! Thank you for sharing it. My husband is definitely proud of the name, and a very 'English' name it is too! I've adopted it gracefully, as a proud Welsh girl ;)

Ha! I like you already ;)
Purdie is most definitely the Queen of our house. I left her this morning sunning herself in the window as I trundled off to work. The catnip art from DK is in fact the first piece of mail I have received for or about the cat. I don't think anyone knew I had a cat before that!

Churchill is my married name, but my husband assures me he is distantly related to Winston somewhere along the line. I'm not so sure, but I like the name anyway, and it's still new enough to be a novelty for me ;)
