Hello Val,

I'm in such a period, watching also horrorthriller movies. I am discovering for instance the movies the Italians Mario B. and Dario A. made, great stuff. These movies were a reaction on Italian neorealism at that time (love this as well) and they are more rooted in psychoanalysm and surrealism. It depends how you look at these pictures or read these books, that's all.

Hi Val,

Yes you can open the envelope! Don't talk about hospitals, it's my present nightmare. I was in one last night for an oxygen mask (suffer from sleep deprivation causing heart problems and even my diabetes would be the result of this). New night in the hospital scheduled on May 11. In hospital I don't paint, I read horror stories to pass the time (hihi). I read Malpertuis by Jean Ray (turned into a movie by Harry Kumel, including Orson Welles)

Lip reading might solve a number of problems.

Ha!  No comment on my national identity, but you'd be correct in assuming something in between Russian and American.  You may be able to check with the Department of the Army, they might have some record of my identity...

Oh, the the 'Forever' label on the Reagan stamp has nothing to do with the president, it is a special postage rate that is now available on some US stamps, allowing them to be valid regardless of future postal rate increases.

Salut!

Thanks for the heads-up.

Gotta run. If I don't keep juggling these various balls marked "family/home life," "business," "blogging," and "mail-art to friends," one's sure to wind up on the floor.

In haste with messy smear of mustard at one edge

Wow that was fasssstt! Sometimes I think they send mail through worm holes because I Just sent that a few days ago. Glad you like the special bonus courtesy of any number or my furry felines.  You don't need to reassemble the dead art. Feel free to burn it, bury it, eulogize it, whatever you see fit.  Afterall, it died so it wasn't very good to begin with. Careful with those sharp objects! I look forward to getting mail from you as always your friend Diane

I put up a comment over at the 5 conversation, describing my desire to cogitate over your ideas.

It is now gone. Is it deleted?

Val ... I'm still thinking about you being out and about at 7:30 in the morning!

I've been up but not out and about ... and would have done the same as you had I been...

... thank you for thinking of me (so early in a day).

Val - thank you for the card :-) I know I've been quiet - was away for three weeks - but alive and well - I have posted you something.

Hi Val,

Well, the book of Ann is becoming a book of different Ann's and this from the early start, see the entry of David Stone for instance. So you could turn this into a tribute to your own partner!
