Hi Val,
I had a chance to look through your website. Very enjoyable! I really like how you play with stamps. I have always regarded them as little artworks and have often used them in my stuff but you are carrying stamps to a level way above me.

Cheers and don’t let the alcohol get the best of you! :)

The "crab" cap is too much...cannot stop laughing, Val! I'll be on the look out for any unusual headgear, here in Greece...although I am sure it will all be "Made in China".

Gald to see that someone sent you 300 more slide frames. So that means that I can wait to pack up and ship the 1,500 I have here, hmmm? Happy art making on slide frames in the New Year! xxx

Hi Val, and I'm glad to hear that you liked the mail art that I sent. The photo on the food card is from a window display at a little toy shop in Berkeley, where they sell fake lobsters, jellyfish, fugu fishes, sharks, and sushi for the kids to play with. Sort of an upscale tea party, I guess!

You may also have noticed that this artwork is a little puzzle, and you can arrange the pieces any way that you like. I also sometimes use the pieces as mini-postcards.

More fun!

Thank you, Val!  That scrap study is about 4X6 inches - a smallish postcard.  I had a good time with it - used all the leftover stuff sitting on my work table.  Maybe I'll try again with results to you and Mad Madge.

Val! Are you ok?

My sister said that she saw you in a dream that you had/are having. Bit weird since you are asleep now, but she said that are you are having a dream right now about drowning in a river which turns into chocolate, or maybe it's a good dream? I asked her how she knew it was you and she said "from his hat", so it must be true. Maybe it's cos we've had 2 bottles of wine. Who knows? Sweet dreams...

Dear Val,

I left the duck at the gate. It wanted to byte the gardener named Bill. That left me in a lot of trouble and a huge dress with a funny head - see my problem?

Val, I didn't know you had such good legs!! What a lovely photo, the first time I've seen you smile. Maybe you should wear dresses more often! As for telling Dean, no worries there, as I don't know who that is. Is he another of your sons looking through my window??

Where do I get myself a minion to do all the computer stuff??

Ah, Val, I was indeed thinking of Magritte et "C'est ci n'est pas un pipe." I have a couple more pipes to place before we leave for France on 2 Jan. Any mail that arrives after 31 Dec. I won't see until the end of February, yikes.  However, I'll be mailing out from Paris.
