Thank you for the great mail art / lino prints that arrived in Greece today!

I "blogged" them, on Vizma's stamp blog ;-) Also, th cat print is posted at the Cat Lover's group. You are really doing a great job as a printer, Val, keep up the good work xxx

We did. For three years we have curated exhibitions in the former Archive of the Ministery of Foreign Affairs in The Hague (also homebase of the Dutch branch of Art & Tennis Club of Kaliningrad).

Unfortunately it has been demolished last year. It was a perfect place for an exhibition on mail-art. We will upload a picture of The Archive soon.

Happy it arrived!  Well, I think if you read your end of the year e-mail about mail art destroying your life, and then look at the card, all the meaning you need will be clear.  If not, ask the cats.  In my experience, they usually know, but don't always tell.

Hi Val,

thanks for your message.

I forgot to make a picture or scan of the mail art I sent you.

Can you scan it for me?

Then I can tell you how I made it, because I have sent out a lot ( ten of so?) last week,

so I don't remember which one you received.

Greetings Emmy

Big thanks Val for your mail art envelope number 1! Fantastic little gallery of fun art and stuff! As soon as I'm capable I'll take a photo to share. It's stinking hot today and I'm sunburnt from being stuck on a boat all day yesterday, very dramatic! Had to be towed to safety after being finally found. Just watching the tennis- Aussie open now and checking 100s of emails.

Nice deux cha vos below!

Hi Val,

No rules on how much time I spend, as much as I can.   I know I have cut back a bit.  My new rule is to try to finish a piece in 1 hour, but this is not working.  It always takes longer than I think.

Hi Val,

Thanks for the welcome - I am going to do some MA for Holocaust Memorial  Day 27 January 2012. I will send you a piece. I am going to start sending work out on that issue from 23rd Jan to 27th Jan.

I know Darlington very well - tho' not the footie team (it is bad news that they could be lost after all these years).

Slainte/Shalom,

Cal

I'll tell you, PASSAPORTE is a collaborative artist's book simulates a passport in information and proportion. I'm looking for stamps (rubber stamp) like a real passport, to write this history. I hope to have their contribution. Saludos brasileros from Argentina.

I can not find the project about wood.  I looked under "events" and "Forum".  Or if you can send me a link, that would be helpful.

Good morning, on the 2nd day of the SOLDES

Funny enough, I have two wood pieces in line.  Actually I have over 40 projest waiting for me.  I keep all the part in zip lock bags with my notes, and try to get around to doing them.  This is all starting to sound like "WORK".

If I get the shoe off in the next day or two, I'll be happy.

Hi Val! I thought of you the other day when I was standing in the CEMA hospital in San Jose Costa Rica... my husband, some friends and I were standing in the entrance to the Orthopedic wing, when who should step out of the elevator but Oscar Arias! It is a small world isn't it? :)

Hello hello. The funny thing with the last batch, I was only sending to people that generally say hello. No big deal, gonna make a big batch of things later on tonight and then spread.

Not my legs unfortunately. All of the sports I played thankfully covered my short / stubby legs, but thanks for asking.

As always, send away..
