Look, there's another.  The arrival of these works is a thrill.  Amazing how the depiction of the dire can please.  It has something to do with feeling understood in the world, at least occaisionally.  Thank you Guido!

The P.O must have had overtime from being off on Monday.   An unusual delivery arrived last night after 8 PM/2000!    The object is even more unusual, a painting from you with olafactory effects.  The odiferous molecules and proteins waft softly up the stairway.   Thank you Guido for your MayDay, To Rebel is a question of Fertility.  Fantastic in every sense.

also... sometimes mail is just disappearing. I don't receive it back and recepient doesn't receive it too. I think problem is in Latvian post offices not in others and to registered mail they behave differently, I hope.

there is a necessity to send a registered mail from/to my place because sometimes mail is going very long time (45 days as example) or can never be received.

BEEP BEEP! "Baby you can drive my car..." LOL

I understand your frustation at the situation in which you found yourself in 1997, Guido. As someone who doesn't drive now, (for medical reasons my drivers license was revoked) I realize how much that license gave me. Not only did it give me the freedom to be mobile, but it gave me a verified identity. I now have a state-issued id card that uses my old drivers license number, but clearly marks me as a non-driver.

I live in a beautiful country, Guido. Sadly, it is run by CRAZY people! GREEDY people! SELFISH people!

I continue to be confounded by the ways in my own country. Our forefathers built this nation on values and morals that seem no longer to exist, as greed and personal political agendas have taken over. I can't even watch the news anymore. I'm better off NOT knowing every play by play, as I become incensed and have no recourse.

Wishing you a beautiful day, my friend!

Hello Guido,

I received your painted envelope on Tuesday. Thank you. I'm glad that we're exchanging mail art. It's always a fun surprise to receive your creativity.

Never again will I apologize with my head hung in shame, Guido! What a pep talk! And you managed it in one sentence and a video! You are my hero, Sir! :D

A friend of mine says that she has learned never to expect anything from me, rather she takes what comes, when it comes, as a gift from the heart, knowing that if I slowed down long enough to think of her, it was genuine and not forced... "because you creative types are so scattered! You know I mean this in the most loving way possible!" She gets me too. :D
