What's the town in NM?

My trip is going well - 2 days left.

Ah, and how is the community college system doing there? One in our area has done away with French classes because they say they can't afford it. I hope English lit is still safe. People are reading less and less for pleasure these days. Reading can help in more conscious living ,I think.

Hi Jon,

You're welcome! Thank you too! What level and subject do you teach? I am a nursery school teacher in a progressive school in California and a one day a week ESL volunteer.

You will see your influence in the next mailart that i send to you. cheryl h.

Jon, because of you I'm trying to do some torn paper collage. Thanks! Also, I saw your comment about your handwriting. You might try a slanted board when writing, one that slants upwards. I saw some laptop boards that are slanted that could work I think. Are you a leftie?(Not political, but fine if you are.)cheryl h.

Hi Jon,

Nope, not me.

I received something from you several days ago, but I haven't seen it yet because I'm on business travel. Can't wait 'til I get home!

WOW going to China sounds great! When do you go? Got your latest and greatest card yesterday. Slowly making my way through replies. A bit busy right now so 2 a night is my best effort.

Nothing horribly exciting - some great old photos - ah to scan for the rest of my life and I would never catch up! Will get something out to you this week. Thanks and love the Indian chief piece.

I like the relation of the images on your postcard - the fingers and collage coloured shapes tie it all together, almost like a shattered effect. Great! Will send something to you soon Jon.

Bonjour! Yes the Hartlepudlians did hang a monkey as they thought it was one of Napoleon's French troops. The residents of that delightful town are widely known in the North East as 'Monkey-****ers'. I told you it was grim up there!
