The social responsibility of the artist
is to survive and to nibble away
at society's thick hide with love
     and sharp teeth.
                              -- Harley

I few minutes ago I sent a message to Giovanni Bianchini. It was scoldy and well-worded, and maybe even right, but it was all wrong. ALL WRONG.
Who knows what difficulties and injustices anyone on this website suffers?  No way to know. Who knows what any of us - what I - would have to say once the cup of suffering or frustration had been completely filled?
So, here we all are at our computers,  artists  who only really know about ourselves - even then we may be mistaken for a while. And all we really have to give each other is acceptance, love, and mailart.  In Giovanni's case, snail mail doesn't even come to him.
I deleted my ill-considered message, so it won't be seen by Giovanni, I guess, but it was seen by anyone who got a notice in their email. So right here let me say:
I'm sorry, Giovanni, for my lack of compassion, and I'm sorry for my ignorance about the pain in this world. I want to demonstrate more love, less teeth.
