Where did little Nicolas go on his summer holiday? [This Blog is NOT bought to you by the Tourist Information Office of Sigean]

Bonjour Happy followers of my Great Big Collages series!

We are now up to number 8.

This one looks at where Little Nicolas spent his summer holiday this year.

Here's the Great Big Collage, it's called in French 'Petit Nicolas passe ses grande Vacances à Sigean';

Sigean is where I live. It is a small village in the South of France, between Narbonne and Perpignan.

Katerina, Dean and Jeanette have spent petites vacances here in recent years.

The center piece of this comes from an advertising board for a (horrible) children's sirop, called 'Monin'.

(There are many horrible children in France -- they are probably horrible because they have drunk too much Monin):

So where did Petit Nicolas spend his grandes vanaces?

Yes, Sigean!

So what did he do there? Well he went to the African Reserve to see the lions (and Val), saw the tortoises and the eagles, did some wind-surfing, went for a tour of the vineyards in Isabelle's 2CV, swam, mountain-biked, went around Narbonne on the little train, visited some Cathar castles, and had a very good time.

Where are you going on holiday next year, Little Nicolas?

I don't know. Perhaps to Darlington?

Good luck!
