Meeting a fish and receiving a letter in a bottle, what more does one want?!
Great drawing / painting by Christophe Blaise.
Christophe has an ongoing and fascinating mail art project: 'Mail art teeth' in which you can participate, too.
Merci beaucoup, Christophe!

Another great drawing / painting by Richard Baudet!
A Dutch landscape, so to see. The weather he drew is exactly the same as it is in the Netherlands now: over 30 degrees Celsius... So one has to look for some shade. Fortunately he drew the woman a large enough hat.
On the back side Richard's marvellous handwriting, and a pretty stamp:
Thank you very much, merci beaucoup, Richard!

On a warm day cooling down in a bath tub is a pleasant thing to do. I remember the tub at my late grandma's home, thanks to this great collage/drawing by Richard Baudet.
Meanwhile the lady keeps a caring eye on the child and the dog, and all is cheered up by balloons.
Thank you very much, merci beaucoup, Richard!
Thanks for posting!

Not staring but beholding the Swallows or Swifts, flying graciously around her.
Cheerful collage created by ToniPoet.
Also posted at the animals blog (along with other great mail art by Toni).
Thank you very much, Toni!

It is summer in our northern hemisphere, and I imagine Katerina is doing the same as this lady does: sitting at the turquoise blue sea, enjoying the variety of colours of the sunrise (or sunset), and talking non-verbally to a friendly dolphin.
Colourful collage/painting created by Katerina Nikoltsou.
I've posted this and more from this mail art there.
Thank you very much, Katerina, ευχαριστώ!

The first time we can see her watching into the other direction! Thanks to Roni Michel - see also his previous contribution in the post of 5 June.
Thank you very much, merci beaucoup, Roni!

Waiting for the Holland-America Line. And once the ship comes, the lady gets on the ship and the ship departs, she still has to wait: for weeks, maybe months, before she lands in the new land overseas.
How much things have changed since the start of the Holland-America Line!... We buy a plane ticket, wait a while in the airport, and in less than a day to even a only few hours, we reach our destinations.
Great mixed media work of mail art by Richard Baudet.
Thank you very much, merci beaucoup, Richard!

"E", ambassadeur of Utopia, has integrated the lady in a larger envelope.
As you can see, "E" added his famous red-black skulls to the, undisturbed, lady.
Thank you very much, merci beaucoup, "E"!
