"What are you going to do with that ugly thing?" Dean's wife asked nicely.

After working on it, Dean Marks now says "BUT I KINDA LIKE IT!" So do I, yep, it's colorful, looks Italian or French, and features wine and grapes--can't go wrong with those ingredients: There it hangs now near the piano corner, lightening the heavy load of the significance of classical music. Dean tells the story here of how I came to earn this prize by sending him 99 american cents last year, an investment obviously well worth making: The 91-cents sale price is a little suspect, but who's looking a gift horse in the mouth?

One of Dean's book covers also arrived recently, and I agree with the philosophy he puts forth, except for the part-sentence which could lead us to believe that "laughter is an indicator of pathology":

*Thank You,* Dean!

Dean said he would buy me something for the 99 cents while here in the states, but who would have believed him? He's a man of his word, by golly. And now we really know he is.

Again an incredible story by Dean! Good to hear some news from Yosemite, but the Drunkpo painting, I'm not sure...
