These have arrived in Greece from Claire Dinsmore:

If you ever have had one washi tape...you will surely become addicted!

The REAL washi is of rice paper, and very delicate. It sticks, but can also be reused.

So, some dear friends at "washi-holics" at the Artspace group, are helping my addiction

by sending and exchanging many, many amazing washi tapes. It seems the colors and

designs are endless, as is the size, shapes and quality.

Claire placed a series of washi on playing cards, because it is easy to remove the tapes

from slick, or non-porous surfaces. And it is difficult to find BLUE!

But Claire has sent many, many...what a generous spirit!

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Come by "washi-holics" and you will see many, many more

...especially the collection of Kim in Korea...WOW!

The large roll must be meters and meters long...I shall use it wisely as it is filled with

great vintage  "postal" markings:

Claire sent many wonderful things in her package...including a large roll of washi...

plus all the pieces of washi that I removed from the packaging and placed on a plastic sheet...

to be reused on mail art ;-0
