What a fun envelope, full of washi tapes:

Fishes and clams and octopus, too. KitKats and bunnies also, stars fish and sea creatures all "taped"!

Now I understand that wahi tape can be peeled off and re-taped, yes?

(washi can be wrapped around a pencil and saved for future use)

I spread them on a clear plastic sheet and then

happily "altered" a few cards with Vizma's washies:

Besides the washi tapes on the envelope, there are also stampings and things:

I do think these are "recycled" Australian postage stamps?

Well, Vizma sent some very nice cards inside the envelope, too:

and one card with her "octopus" head dress :-)

Thank you Vizma!xxx

Be well and expect some mail art from Greece soon.

Oh, yes! I "added" and passed on the FluXus stampings to Ruud!

it's been around-the-world :-)

Oops, your address should read "SA" for South Australia"?

Maybe that is why mail art is arriving so slowly? Hope not,

I better check my mailing address for you !

The musical notes are lovely. I just looked at that last photo again and noticed that I didn't stamp an A for SA in my address...what a crappy address stamping that is!!! Might be time to upgrade in 2014!!

Yes, Vizma, dear! Your washi tape envelope came in the mail along with Thom Courcelle's music washi, I considered that a coincidence, as we were just talking about washi at "artspace"!

From Thom:

It's addictive, huh? I've been buying lots because the mail art slowed down here. Just got mail from Pamela sent on Nov 25!!! I think mail is speeding up now...

...and now that I carefully removed the washi tapes,

this little fella came up on the envelope:

It seems that Viz added the remains of self-stick stamps on top of her "asemic" design?

I am liking this very much:
