Yes, it's into the dark, but don't worry it's what's on the other side that counts.
It's very dark. Boekie doesn't know what's going on, I think it wants to be back in hot summery Australia. But look ahead there's a light! We're nearly out boekie, don't worry.
We made it into the light! Phew!
We're approaching the spot where Br. McCudda is said to have slept for two hundred years. Here we are, it's the tree in the middle with the stones nearby.
On closer inspection we see the imprints left by Br. McCudda's knees and chin. I assume the one on the right is for the chin and the one on the left is for the knees but who knows.
We spot some Rosary beads, as this is a holy place. Time for a close-up of boekie and the beads.
And we spot a tree with three fingers. Photo op!

Cry
Don't cry Vizma!
OH MAN! I can't believe what I'm seeing! This is just stunningly beautiful!! I think I may have to have a cry!!
I hope your first day at work wasn't too mundane Suus and nice to hear it made your day. Dustin I certainly live in a beautiful place though I've gotten quite familiar with the views, today I reminded myself how lucky I am. Thanks for your kind words DVS! I had a fantastic walk and I would have been scrambling through the woods with boekie all day if I had the opportunity! I love how the light is muted in the forest and it suited boekie's complexion perfectly.
Br. McCudda's Walk is one of my favourite spots and I always wondered how Br. McCudda could scrunch up with his chin and knees so close together and to do that for two hundred years. Ouch!
Too beautiful for me to find the right words - a book-performance piece. Stunning.
Thanks Suus and Dustin! There's more to come.
Taidgh!!! Thanks for taking us and the boeki on a walk! I sure enjoyed it. What a beautiful place you live in. No wonder you do your art outside.
This blog with great MailArt just made my day! (... first day at work in the new year...)
