After numerous attempts to photograph and film Vizma’s boekie I gave up. The reason for quitting was due, in most part to bad lighting which led to poor focus. So I had the bright idea to take my camera and the boekie for a walk and photograph our adventures. I was certain I could find more light outside. So here's the proof that the walk actually happened and I wasn't just sitting at home watching tele.
I started by taking the boekie to one of my favourite spots. First we had to climb a hill to get to Knockreer Gardens. I pointed out the mountains and showed boekie where I bring a few cans in the summer and read a book.
There's a little known walk nearby called Brother McCudda's Walk so it had to be done. It is always a bit muddy and dark for this time of year, but it's always a nice, quiet walk.
The boekie was a little apprehensive going down a steep hill to get to the path, but I assured her I knew what I was doing. After a few minor slips we arrived at the spot.

Vizma's boekie seems to have found her rightful place on this 'magical mystery tour'.
Deep, dark and mysterious wanderings in that countryside...how nice!
Great boekie, Viz! Great "volta" too!
To go where no Boekie has gone before! Bravo to the both of you.
lol - well, it looks like you both took a glorious walk indeed!
WOW! This is grand!! Can't wait for the next bit...I'm laughing!!!
Thanks Claire - my pleasure. I wanted to do something different and take a few photos of Vizma's boekie while having fun. I think I achieved what I wanted to do and fooled myself into getting some exercise while I was at it!
Lord this is gorgeous taidgh - lucky Vizma - I'm exceedingly envious! Thanks for taking us with you my friend...^_^
Thanks Steph! I had lots of fun making this.
