Here is official correspondence from Val. An Immigration Form (Immigration Officer's not, for official use, it says), which Val must have picked up on his recent trip to the UK, as souvenir. He added some notes of his own, that is marks and prints and dots. The paisley shape, or mango shape, is an auspicious symbol in the east ranging from Persia to India. I draw it myself sometimes. I love the tiny print in the bottom right corner, that would make a beautiful stamp too. Thank you Val, for thinking of me!

Merci! The 'paisley shape' is a rubber door stop that I spread layers of acrylic paint over and print several times. The dots on it  -- and those bottom left -- were applied with the bottom of a cocktail stick. And the print at the bottom was made with a glass plate and the glass from a 35mm slide.
