Trashpo Philosophy from Richard Canard from Karmadale, Illusion

I am so happy to get mail art from Richard as his art has always been trashpo and his writing makes me smile. Funny yet always philosophical. I first met Richard when he responded to my Dear Diary mail Art project and sent me some wonderful and amusing diary entries. This reminds me of the same. The funniest one said "Postcards are a horrible way to keep a diary".  I love his quote about trashpo  "All mailart is trash"

A most interesting card from Richard Canard. Thanks for photographing it so close up, Diane, we can read every word. You must treasure the funny yet philosophical from a mail artist with such a history. I like "I find that getting to the truth can be a very difficult path -- that's why I rarely go that way." Great sort of inside-out realism in that statement!
