The other day I picked up an envelope from Le Gristaire. It wasn't for me, it was for that rock star Mère Ubu (I know there is also a Père UHU walking around, laugh!). She doesn't live here anymore but I bumped into her at the supermarket today, she says thanks!

The comic "Whistler's mother in law"refers to the painting where Whistler depicts his own mother (below). Artist or no artist, she looks like the archetypal mother in law to me. An angel, surely :-))
I just noticed that it is hidden of the photo, but Grigori is now embracing the italian artist G.A.Cavellini. His new stamp says "adhesive over talent" :-)) I'll post a picture later on.

What else do we have... let's see... Oh, an ass and pad on, final destination E! Cool, I'll pad on. Or Mère Ubu will.

The Pièce de Résistance was found on the "inside side" of the envelope though, I had to tear open. A collage/drawing over the whole wall of the envelope. I don't know what you think, but this style looks somehow familiar to me. The Klondike bear, I've met him before. For sure. The woman on the perfume add, I might have met her too. The crosswords grid.... words, wordplay, most likely on a daily basis, yes.
Grigori, this is deliciously cryptic. I think can I see where you're coming from, but as usual, I can never be completely sure, and that's the fun part of it. Merci Père Grigstaire, this was a great envelope!

And I'll leave you with one provocative question. Why is TRRH so important to... to whoever THEY are?

I don't know how to interpret that. As I said, it is amazing how much the TOXIS Adventure mirrors current events. I see why some insist on keeping art and life separate. When they mix, it does get strange.

Ok, so some of The Grigster's stuff is OK mail-art. You were witness to the unusual events that seem to surround him. In fact, you arrived about the time he faked his death at the IUOMA, although I think he at first claimed he had been hospitalized & it grew into a rumor he had died. You know he's probably here under several aliases - invented identities. You know about the fictitious Grigori Antonin Cult Kits & the rumors of mail-artists requiring hospitalization as the result of opening said cult kits, his supposed extradition to Germany to be tried for copyright violation. You know about the phony Ray Johnsons dropped on Japan, the Monkey Purge.... It's hard to say who has played and been played in that murky world.

Upon closer examination it is quite obvious that TRRH is being played on more than one fronts. But she has clear vision.

I guess I have been warned, yes. But at that time all I was focused on was Groot's poster of DW on the wall ;-))

Grigster uttering "quaiff" is priceless!!

Marie, can't you see you're being played? Just like a bunch of others before you were played, so he can advance what amounts to an elitist cultural agenda while all the time denying it? Dark wall even tried to warn you:

DVS, the way I see this: DW being acknowledged by the Minnesota School of Correspondence as an accomplished artist. I wonder what he thinks about it.

Marie, I must protest. You know I must. This is an outrage. Grigori Antonin aka Le Grigstaire aka The Grigster aka The Minnesota Menace - a notorious Ray Johnson impersonator who is now trying to claim Cavellini. All that is well and good, but Dark wall is being targeted for cruel mockery here. I must rise to the defense of Dark wall as he is a severely impaired imbecile incapable of defending himself against bitter such bitter and spiteful satire. Lest you think I am reading too much into this, here is Dark wall's "Fake Sandpo." The Klondike bar is the key. I think you should consider withdrawing this monstrosity.
