Diane Keys and I are playing "Conjure This!" She said: Conjure Wonder Sauna Hot Pants with Batwings! and I complied (sorta, see below) and I said to her Conjure The Oily Doily, aka a moist towelette sold exclusively in steak and lubester restaurants and, well, see above. She also added some wonderful photos of her as a child. Luckily this stage has almost passed. And let's not forget that very special Halloween when Mom .....well, take a look for yourself...
That was a special night for Diane, a night she learned valuable life-lessons about tooth decay and product placement. And speaking of product placement:
Special Thanks to Angie C for her keen eye for essential ephemera. One more thing....
Not too late for the shortest mail call ever. This poster was made before I refined my concept but really anything you do surrounding the themes of the legacy we are leaving will be just fine. The people who have sent things in already are proudly wearing their Legacy Project Tote Bags and Merit Badges good at many Ace Hardware stores. So don't delay, send away. Thank you, Diane and Angie.

I think it is a Christmas costume; White Christmas
& a cheerleader, ballerina & gymnast - the legend is growing.
DVS---I remember sending that one, but I don't remember where I got it, but the pic that David put inside the oily doily I don't remember and thought it might be Angie. i was never a tube of toothpaste, I was, however once a crayon
Yes, send away, Katerina...the actual event is September 5 so there's wiggle room.
How could someone not remember mailing the human toothpaste tube pic? Just asking.
If I send another "Legacy" mail art from HOT Greece, on August 18,
will it arrive in HOT New Mexico by August 29?
Let's give the postal services a run-for-their-money (which they don't have and must up postage)
No ACE hardware stores around the Aegean Sea, what to do, what to do?
(Send, send, send...another monument, Kat)
Remember that Disney movie, "Ol Fluxus." Man, my eyes tear up just thinking about the scene where Tommy Kirk has to shoot his postcard collection because it will sell better with real bullet holes...Where was I? Yes, that's one of the two photos you sent me Diane. I cut her head out because it seemed to fit nicely in the center of the doily. Think of her as the Queen of Oily Doileys. Perhaps her name is Joan. There's plenty of free-floating plausibility to go around.
okay--now I' m totally confused. Who is the photo of in the middle of the OD (tm)? Did I send it to you? Did Angie send it to you? For some reason I thought Angie must have. Any photos I send are found so I have no idea who the tube of toothpaste is. Maybe it should be google image searched:)
That DK toothpaste pic - that's "Old Fluxus."
