It is madness here. In the smaller towns it is less commercial. More for children and a fun family day out. We get people from all over the world coming to visit so it really adds to the atmosphere. Don't pass out from all that balloon blown' Diane!

I love it!! I can tell you that there are many 'new agers' that believe Leprechauns are real and live in the mossy green countryside. Is St Pats Day a huge deal in Ireland? Is it very commercial? my son's birthday is two days after St Paddy's Day so his birthday is always themed. We are actually nearly passing out right now blowing up green balloons.

Great news! I love St. Paddies Day - beats Christmas hands down. I do pity your cat though! We don't believe leprechauns are real - sad to say. I wish! We have a great Leprechaun Museum in Dublin where everything is oversized so that even adults feel small like leprechauns. Sometimes it is good for adults to feel small :P We have a leprechaun crossing. I have waited many a night to see one crossing the road. There are many stories about leprechauns that gives me an idea for your next envelope Diane. I'll have you know I kissed the Blarney Stone - I hope some of the nonsense from my mouth spills over to my pen.

:) I didn't know I did themed art either Diane! It was quite a surprise happening. I think it may have had something to do with the St. Patrick's Day stamp enticing me to do something around the festival. Thanks Stripy for posting and Suus for your kind words as always. I shall be swimming in a sea of green as of tomorrow.
