The Nothingists: First to Raise the Bricks of Insurrection

Mike Dyart sends some "Esoteric Art" that contains a history of the Nothingists—extremists countering the no less extreme demands of the Everythingists...

This is the history of Russian Dadaists (supposedly). Mike's quasi-serious history of a geo-political art history is illustrated with an empty landscape of formerly swaying corn-stalked field rows. The imperative "EAT ART" mocks the observer, for there is nothing to eat in this fallow field. I ingest the important historical documen of the Russian Nothingists, but true to its subject of Dada-devotionism, I am unable to regurgitate with any assertiveness or meaning, the substantive effects of this foreign political impasse, which may or may not have affected my own socio-economic art production through some unknown "butterfly effect" of global consequence. "No, no," I protest to the ether permeating the harvested corn fields of my own New England landscape... which sullenly and coldly deplore my elocutionary incitement of acknowledged postal permutations. But the Russians quip at my meandering misunderstanding, simply replying with their initial manifesto of, "Yes, yes."

...Mike, unsupportively, has nothing to add to my discombobulation...

And yet I am grateful.
