Bonjour!
I play (badly) rock'n'roll guitar.
I play (slightly better) the alto recorder.
In France, the recorder is known as the 'flu(^)te à bec'. [The ^ is supposed to go over the u, but I can't seem to manage that].
There is another type of flu(^)te, a 'flu(^)te traversière'. This is a flute -- the type of flute that Wolfgang Amadeus obviously had in mind when he wrote 'The Magic Flute' opera ('obviously' because he didn't mess around with ^^^^^s).
Anyway, here is my latest Great Big Collage that is all about.....RECORDERS:
It's made up of a series of photos of impressionist, modern and not so modern art, to which I have added/collaged recorders in some unusual places. Well, not so unusual if you see recorders everywhere, which I do, of course
Here are some details:
The next one is a little risqué (another accent!) so those of you of a sensitive disposition should look away NOW:
Finally, I must thank my very good friend Boots who, in the making of this collage, amongst other things, got stuck to the glue stick, spilled my cup of tea over an earlier version of this, put muddy paw prints over some of the pictures, etc. Here he is inspecting the finished work:
Copyright? Boots, I suppose
