THE INEFFABLE TREASURES OF MINXUS EXHIBITION - Wintzer (Japan), Skybridge Studios (USA), Chester (USA), Granlund (Finland), Orr (USA), Pullo (USA), Canard (USA), Weiss (Switzerland), Wahl (Germany)

Visual poetry by Marie Wintzer (Saitama, Japan) in "The Ineffable Treasures of MinXus" Exhibition.

August 20, 2012 - As part of Solar Festival 2012, MinXus-Lynxus USA has hosted "The Ineffable Treasures of MinXus," an exhibition of work received in the USA during the Solar Festival and reflecting the spirit of MinXus. (Thus, the exhibition does not represent the holdings of other great MinXus collections of the world.)

The festival, as you will see, has inspired and created an opportunity to build the collection with exciting art as well as relics.

"Leda, the swan and the search for beauty and truth." By Marie Wintzer (Saitama, Japan). Unusual variant of a previously circulated visual poem.

And - authentic Mink Ranch souvenirs have been sent from the Ranch Gift Shop all through Solar Festival. There will definitely be more to express appreciation. My favorites so far. Svenja received a genuine ranch poker card with a bullet hole:

Skybridge received a rain poncho!

Neil Gordon got Georgia Tech (football team) body tatoos

And then there are all kinds of Minxus postcards:

Vizma Bruns is busy traveling around the world from Australia  to Mexico to Trinidad to NYC to Greece...and now in Latvia visiting family and friends. LOOK what postage was on mail art from her today!

MinXus is everywhere :-)

Yip, artists responded with all kinds of customized work that demonstrated MinXus aesthetics (& that took imagination!), as well as Mink Ranch & cowboy themes & specific events. It DID get complicated with

(1) Can you draw the Mink (2) Marie's fortune project & then (3) Solar Disks (4) the call for "Ineffable" Treasures - I think everything is documented at M-L that somehow was missed at "Yoma."

Katerina's stamp is one of those. It didn't make it to M-L-USA for the show, but Marie does have one that has been blogged. It certainly is worthy of the Order of the Tangerine Mink:

Great exhibition - very nice to see James Chester's work!  I think we all are looking forward to receive a free Mink Ranch souvenir - because we are worth it
