Just when I wished for more Nancy-art I found this wonderful card in my mailbox. Nancy wrote that it was just too spooky to keep it and that she wondered, "To whom can I send it?" - I seemed to be quirky enough! I'm really happy to be quirkyfied!! I love it, the way the painting creeped (?) into the old paper, the fading colours...

And I love the envelope too, definitely first class!!

Thank you again!

Perfect description, David.

I can see that, Nancy. It's like a little soft focus bat sneaking up on Dr. Mephisto, the baddest dracula in a t-shirt...

That pert little flip actually resembles sanded-down bat wings, in my opinion. No problem there.

Some board meetings are worse than having too much glass in your eyes. Brilliant Halloween poster of the brilliant Stafford Mephisto! I love it. And the words are too creepy for words.

Brava, Lisa! You know I don't do this very often but....lol. He'd be scarier if his cape didn't resemble a pert little flip...what is the trick or threat font?

Hmmm, now that you mention it there are some similarities with the crazy man who ran for president in 76. Lisa, no greater honor can be bestowed than to be ushered into the dreamworld and I love the image of piled up contact lenses like stacked jellyfish at a seaside garage sale.

Interesting rotten dream, Lisa. I broke a mirror last night.

Quite an education here, to finally know what fading shades of taupe look like. You weren't kidding! David, I'm suspicious though, is that you impersonating Mephisto? The eyes look familiar ...
