Some Mail Art can not be seen by photos: Marie Wintzer's squares on a string

Marie in Japan sent me this lovely mail art piece. It is a series of paper squares on a string with knots between each square. I couldn't just show it with one single photo. So here it is in all its glory.

Also the 16th of May is Marie's birthday. It's now 2am in Japan so I guess it's official; Happy Birthday Marie

If you don't submit that under the short film category at Cannes next year, I won't know what to think! Your video really shows how Marie's work is like a prayer flag of art--with blessings of beauty swept away by the winds!!

I was trying to pinpoint all the places that Marie's artwork "visited."...Far and wide it seemed! MAGIC, MAGIC, MAGIC!! Did the Archbishop stop to bless the artwork??? It looked like he came close enough to do so!
